Ash Walsh moves up to fourth in Race 1 at Winton Dunlop Series Round


Infant’s Friend V8 Supercar driver Ash Walsh has recovered in superb fashion from a tenth grid position to fourth in the first of three races at Round 5 of the 2013 Dunlop Series. The MSR team have been behind the eight ball since technical rule changes by the V8 Supercars Commission affected the shock set used by the team.

Walsh got a good start in Race 1 and avoided a very common Turn 1 Winton stoush that saw a number of cars off the track and considerable damage to Casey Stoner and others. As the Safety Car was called, Ash had moved the Infant’s Friend Falcon up two spots and looked on the attack when the Green Flag was deployed some three laps later. Continue reading

Tough conditions for Ash Walsh in Practice at Winton Dunlop Series Round


A wet Friday littered with Red Flags did little to assist Ash Walsh and the Infant’s Friend / MSR team in preparation for the first of three Dunlop Series Rounds. A change in the shock package to the MSR Falcons meant the team were looking to utilise the track time available to dial the car into the tricky Winton track. The conditions did not help.
