simPRO Racing Team driver Ash Walsh has endured an up and down practice and qualifying in the opening stanza of the Bathurst Dunlop Series this weekend at Bathurst. The 23 car field was on track for 2 x 40 minute practice sessions on Friday and this morning for the all important Qualifying session.
“Bathurst is without doubt the greatest test for a driver and I was a little over ambitious in the early running on Friday. The car felt good immediately but I made a mistake at Turn 2 and that was that.” Walsh commented.
